VBC Together With MJJ Foundation Released Second Issue of the Scientific Journal Applied Business: Issues & Solutions!
The second issue of the scientific journal Applied Business: Issues & Solutions is out now.
This time our online journal in English covers topics on business process modelling, applied business solutions, programming for fintech and education innovation technologies.
Applied Business: Issues & Solutions is an international journal published by Vilnius Business College and Marius Jakulis Jason Fundation. It is available online only and is dedicated for both academic and general public. This is a great example of how scientific achievements provide ideas for business, and the academic community can publish publications that merge knowledge and insights from different disciplines.

Autumn Semester 2022/2023 Students Survey
We would like to invite you to take part in the survey of study modules (subjects) in the autumn semester and evaluate their quality at Vilnius Business College.

For each module (subject), click – fill survey and answer the questions there.
If you cant find this table when please go to your grades module:
Next to the module (subject) name you will find three buttons. Click on the middle one and fill in survey form.
P.S. You can select the language of the survey by clicking on the language button EN/LT at the top right.

VBC Activities in 2022
What was 2022 like for Vilnius Business College? A lot has happened as the College is first and foremost about people and everyone has experienced different realisations, lessons and excitements.
The College is also an institution of higher education, which as an academic institution lives an interesting and active life.
So what has it been like for all of us this year? We have selected the most memorable events.
- 30 – that’s how many years Vilnius Business College, one of the first non-state higher education institutions in Lithuania reached.
- This year, the study programme of Business Management and Marketing based on the Team Academy method, as well as all other study programmes in the field of business, were highly rated and accredited for further activities.
- A new e-Business study programme was officially accredited and registered. The first generation started their studies this September.
- A new scientific e-journal “Applied Business: Issues & Solutions“, founded by Vilnius Business College and the Marius Jakulis Jason Foundation, was launched and is published in English twice a year.
- Already 10th Vilnius Business College translation contest took place (fiction genre texts are translated from Lithuanian to English).
- This autumn, the ever-growing College invited students to new premises in Saltoniškių str. 2.
- In our college, Ukrainians who left the country due to war and are working in the field of education were offered free Lithuanian courses/ With the funding from the Lithuanian government, the courses were organised twice: in spring and autumn.

VBC Students Would Like to Invite You to Donate for an Animal Shelter
Every day, more and more animals are thrown out on the streets. Most of them find an new temporary home place – animal shelters.
But shelters find it difficult to fully provide good living conditions for the animals, so the first year students of Vilnius Business College “Team Academy” are organising help for these animals who are being abused by heartless people.
We would like to invite the whole community of Vilnius Business College to join this idea of helping animals.
The donation box can be found in the lobby of the college (Kalvarijų str. 129).
What can be left in the donation box?
- Quality dry food for dogs and cats
- Toys
- Disposable glove
- Garbage bags
The donation box will remain open until 9th of January.

VBC Students Visited Start-up Vinted
On 9th of December, Vilnius Business College students visited the start-up “Vinted”.
VBC alumni, who are successfully working in the company, explained their own path to success, gave advice to future professionals and introduced the company’s activities, atmosphere and opportunities!
Thank you to Vinted and the VBC alumni for the meeting and the time!
Call for Erasmus Summer Traineeships
The International Department of the VBC invites second year full-time and second year part-time students to apply for Erasmus mobility in summer 2023, during the compulsory second year placement.
The Erasmus traineeships are available for a duration of 2 to 3 months and all selected participants will receive scholarships, although the number of funded places is limited.
The deadline for applications is this year 22nd of DECEMBER at 4 pm by email to mindaugas@studybusiness.eu
A cover letter (in English) must be submitted with the application.
On the application form, you can indicate your preferred country and the company if you have tentatively planned to do your traineeship there. If you have not found a company/organisation for your traineeship at the moment, that’s okay, you will have a period of more than 4 months after the traineeship competition to search for a traineeship.
Please also note that Erasmus traineeship mobility participants receive an Erasmus grant of €150 per month more than study mobility participants.

Western Union Visit by VBC Students
