Vilnius Business College invites you to celebrate our International Student Day with our students from all around the world.

Come to discover our diversity and get to know more VBC students and their different cultures. Bring a dish or food of your country and invite your friends to join!

What to bring?
🍲 Famous dishes, food from your country
👘 Traditional clothes that you can wear and bring if you have
📝 Prepare some presentation elements  to introduce your own country: Name, unknown and fun facts, stereotypes, things you would like to share about your country, etc. and bring some pictures!

Vilnius Business College – a Great Example of Cooperation Between Education and Business!

Last week, a new cooperation agreement was signed with RockIT, a company that turns financial technology and sustainable innovation ideas into real projects.

This collaboration will provide amazing opportunities for students of the Vilnius Business College’s study programme – Programming and Financial Technologies.

It is a great opportunity to be in a fin-tech business environment, to make new connections, to generate ideas / implement projects.

It is also a great place for internship and career start. The cooperation agreement with RockIT will help the college to bring the new study programme even closer to practice, business needs and the latest market trends.

VBC Guests From Startup Traxlo

Students, don’t miss it!

On the 1st of December, 2022 Startup Traxlo will provide an exclusive opportunity for you to hear about startup journeys and opportunities for creating business in various accelerator programs! If you are interested in creating a company or want to know how startup accelerator programs work in foreign countries, we invite you to participate in the lecture and to hear it out. The lecture will be conducted by our guest speaker – co-founder and CEO of Traxlo –  Paulius Vėželis.

During the lecture you will hear about:

✓ Experience from one of the most popular accelerator programs “Antler”.

✓ Tips on how to be accepted into such a program.

✓ Startup creation journey – founders’ mistakes and learnings.

✓ New extra income opportunities for students in Vilnius.

VBC Community Members Spent Last Week in Armenia and Spain

Last week, members of the Vilnius Business College community – Lecturer Loreta Pivoriūnaitė and Head of Communication Department Mantas Barkauskas – have been visited Armenia and Spain partners!

Lecturer Loreta Pivoriūnaitė participated in an international conference in Armenia, organised by the European University of Armenia (EUA), where she gave a presentation on “Modern methods of learning, teaching and assessment based on the TEAM ACADEMY method”.

Mantas Barkauskas, Head of Communication Department, participated in a digital marketing training in Tenerife, Spain. “It was an active, motivating, knowledge-rich time. I met great professionals in their field, from whom I received a lot of practical examples and advice along with knowledge. I am full of inspiration”, said M.Barkauskas about the training. Thank you to our partners “FU international academy Tenerife”!

VBC Signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Lithuanian Game Developers Association (LGDA)

This week Vilnius Business College signed a cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian Game Developers Association (LGDA).

This cooperation means

  • more meetings and lectures with representatives of IT business field,
  • workshops that allow our IT students practically apply the knowledge they have acquired,
  • and the opportunity to implement various projects.

The career days organized together with LGDA will provide students with greater opportunities for work and practice, thus further consolidating the extremely high employment rate of Vilnius Business College students.

In closer cooperation with LGDA and representatives of the IT business field, our college is strengthening the content of IT study programs, which is supplemented by the most relevant innovations and the needs of the IT industry known firsthand.

This is great news for our IT students from Lithuania and abroad!

Influencer, actress, many event host – Indrė Stonkuvienė visited Vilnius Business College!

Invited by the Student Council, she talked about the connection between business processes and her many years of experience.

Partners from Georgia visited VBC

Last week, Vilnius Business College had a guest – lecturer Nino Korinteli from Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi University in Georgia.

Nino had a lecture with English language and communication also business management and marketing “Team Academy” students. During lectures guest represented the country of Georgia from business development perspective.

Nino Korinteli’s visit is another strong link between Vilnius Business College and educational institutions in Georgia with an opportunity for our students to broaden their horizons.

N. Korinteli came to Vilnius Business College under the Erasmus+ exchange programme.

VBC Night & Halloween

On 27 October, the “VBC Night & Halloween” event opens its doors to ALL students!

Vilnius Business College invites you to take part in the event and have a crazy night (yes, you read that right!).

Halloween is a night of scary characters and costumes, so let your imagination run wild and come dressed in a Halloween costume, take some cool selfies and take a part in the Halloween costume competition.

Planned activities:

  • take part in various challenges and competitions,
  • dance and sing the night away,
  • meet students from Vilnius Business College,
  • win cool prizes.

VBC Students Took a Part in the Profadienis Event!

Last week VBC students participated in the final of Profadienis, an event organised for college students, so how far did the students of Vilnius Business College come?

5 VBC students made it to the finals, where they once again took part in a variety of different tasks, gaining unique experience and testing themselves in different situations.

Our students were ranked by SEB Bank as the best in the finance category and were awarded cool prizes!

Congratulations to Sandra Butkute, Gustas Šmulkštys, Edgaras Perveinis, Mantas Šalkauskas and Kamile Gabriele Rakel!
