The Artificial Intelligence Technologies study programme is developed within the field of Computer Science and is oriented towards the rapidly growing market of AI technologies, data analytics, and digital solutions. This programme provides cutting-edge knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence – ranging from machine learning and big data analysis to the ethical development of systems and their integration into business. Students learn to design intelligent architectures, critically evaluate technological models, and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. The programme fosters innovative thinking and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing market. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to create significant added value as AI solution developers and analysts within both Lithuanian and international IT ecosystems.

The aim of the study programme is to prepare qualified specialists in artificial intelligence technologies who possess fundamental knowledge of computer science and data science and are able to design, develop, implement, and evaluate artificial intelligence solutions by applying machine learning, data analysis, systems development, and cloud computing methods to address the challenges of organizational and societal digitalization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Graduates will be able to work in information technology companies, startups, the financial sector, telecommunications companies, industrial and manufacturing enterprises, public sector institutions, healthcare, transport, education, and other organizations where data-driven technologies and artificial intelligence solutions are developed and implemented. Graduates will be able to work in the fields of artificial intelligence solution implementation, data analytics and software systems development, holding positions such as artificial intelligence solutions developer, artificial intelligence systems analyst, developer of intelligent applications and IT services, developer of human-assistive intelligent systems and intelligent systems maintenance specialist. They will be able to participate in the development, adaptation, and integration of artificial intelligence solutions into organizational information systems and digital platforms. Graduates will be able to analyze organizational needs, select appropriate artificial intelligence methods and technologies, develop, test and implement artificial intelligence solutions, integrate them into information systems and ensure their quality and reliability. They will be able to work in teams implementing technological projects, collaborate with specialists from various fields and contribute to the development of innovative digital products and services. After completing their studies, graduates will also be able to pursue independent professional activity by providing services related to the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, programming or data analysis. Graduates of the study programme will be able to successfully pursue careers in organizations across various sectors where competencies in the application and integration of artificial intelligence technologies are required.
