VBC with Partners from Switzerland and Poland, is Launching an Ambitious AI Project

We are excited to share the news that Vilnius Business College has secured funding for an artificial intelligence (AI) project titled ‘AI for All: Tapping into Deep Tech Through a Diverse Training Program. Out of 97 applications, we were among the 15 winners.

This project was developed and will be implemented in collaboration with our partners from Switzerland (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) and Poland (Warsaw School of Computer Science).

What does this project mean for our college?
Together with lecturers from the aforementioned educational institutions, we will create several inclusive and interactive AI lecture modules. After completing these modules, students will be able to use the latest AI tools and apply them in both their studies and work. These are highly valuable skills in the dynamic job market, where AI is playing an increasingly important role, and the ability to use AI tools is becoming a common requirement.

VBC invites you to participate in the International Business and Entrepreneurship Conference

Vilnius Business College is organizing an international scientific conference titled “Business and Entrepreneurship: Best Practices and Challenges,” which will take place from October 24-26, 2024. The event aims to bring together members of the academic community, business professionals, and future entrepreneurs to discuss current challenges and solutions in the business world.

This is an excellent opportunity for companies from various industries to learn how to validate business ideas, share relevant business challenges, and discover effective solutions based on research findings. The conference is especially relevant for representatives from the IT, logistics, e-business, and finance sectors, as well as those interested in marketing, sales, and leadership.

The international scientific conference will focus heavily on management topics, such as the impact of AI (artificial intelligence) on decision-making in management and whether it can be trusted. Additionally, the logistics industry, currently facing significant challenges due to the war in Ukraine, growing tensions between Israel and Iran, and EU-China relations, will be a key focus.

Speakers will include researchers from countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria, and more.

“Our long-standing experience in close cooperation with businesses shows that entrepreneurs are not fully taking advantage of the benefits of research projects. With this conference, we aim to bridge two different communities—academia and business—and demonstrate that such synergy is effective both nationally and internationally,” says Vilnius Business College, the conference organizer.
