Our 10th Translation Competition has Finished, so who are the Winners This Year?

The participants had to translate an extract of Holland Park, a novel by Maeve Binchy. The jury members were Birute Berseniene (translator, former lecturer of Vilnius Business College), Vakaris Saulys (English language lecturer) and Jurgita Komarovskyte (Lithuanian language lecturer).

According to V. Saulys, the participants were excellent at feeling the text and some translations provoked high discussions between jury members. So the 1st joined place was given to Dovile Seskaite and Ruta Guirguis (English Language for International Communication study program). Three students Kamile Bulviciute, Juste Michailinaite, Dominika Chocko shared the second place. The winners were awarded by books and other gifts by VBC.
