The Programming and Internet Technologies study programme is designed to prepare programmers who are able to create and manage complex software projects, design and administer computer networks, Internet connection, develop and maintain computerized business information and e-commerce systems.

During studies, there is a strong focus on entrepreneurship, innovative teaching and learning methods, so you can learn through modelling situations in the IT industry, applying your knowledge and ideas in practice. A virtual learning environment, modern ICT and other blended learning solutions are extensively used in the Programming and Internet Technologies study programme.

The Aim of the Programme

To prepare IT specialists who are able to perform various tasks of application, web systems development and management, hardware and software installation and maintenance, computer networking, IT business planning and organization, as well as to adapt to fast-developing technologies and changing environments.


Students have regular consultations on internship opportunities, meetings with the College internship supervisor, with representatives of IT companies, social partners and programme graduates: BTT Cloud, NOD Baltic, NRD CyberSecurity, Albars, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, Information consultations, 3D idea, Albars, Užupis Creative Cluster, Western Union, Barclays Technology Center.

This year, popular places of internship are Albars, BTT, Eset Lithuania, 3D idea and other companies. Most students receive job offers after their internship.

According to the Ranking (Reitingai) magazine, Vilnius Business College / VVK is Top 2 among other Lithuanian colleges in the evaluation of bachelor’s programmes in Informatics. Graduates of the Programming and Internet Technologies study programme get the highest-paid jobs compared to other Colleges‘ graduates.
